Basset Hounds have short legs and a heavy body, which can impede their swimming abilities. They may struggle to stay buoyant in the water.
Dachshunds have a long body and short legs, which can make swimming challenging.
While some Boxers can swim, others may not be as proficient due to their muscular build and relatively short snouts.
Shih Tzus have a long, flowing coat that can become heavy when wet, making it more difficult for them to swim.
Like Bulldogs, French Bulldogs have a compact and heavy body structure, which can hinder their swimming ability.
Pekingese have a flat face and a dense coat, which can make swimming challenging for them. Their short legs may also limit their swimming capabilities.
